The Lake Placid Dragons will take on the Mulberry Panthers in a tournament on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Last Monday, Lake Placid was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 55-49 to DeSoto County.

Meanwhile, Mulberry came up short against Frostproof on Thursday and fell 61-51.

Lake Placid's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Mulberry, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
