Basketball Recap: Savio Gets the Win

Savio picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Highlands Blazers 42-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Savio's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Highlands, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Savio wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 77-45 defeat against BigTyme Prep Academy on the 13th. As for Highlands, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lakehill Prep at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
