Football Recap: Middletown Finds Home Field Redemption Against Lakota East

There's no place like home for Middletown, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Lakota East Thunderhawks with a sharp 27-6 victory on Friday. Considering the Middies have won three games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Middletown pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.0 points on average over those games. As for Lakota East, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
