Basketball Recap: Oakes Takes a Loss

Oakes has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds at home by a 54-40 margin on Saturday. The game marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Oakes' loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Wyndmere/Lidgerwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakes will take on Lisbon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wyndmere/Lidgerwood, they will square off against Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
