Eastside Prep has been on a difficult stretch since their win on April 1. They came up short against the Overlake Owls on Tuesday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Eastside Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 218th, while Overlake is ranked 26th).

Eastside Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Overlake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-0-3 record this season.

Eastside Prep will head out on the road to take on South Whidbey at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastside Prep will be up against South Whidbey's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.77 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Overlake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bush at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Overlake are on a three-game streak of home wins, Bush a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
