It was fun while it lasted, but St. Paul's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Tuesday. They took a 31-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Adams Central Patriots. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

St. Paul lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alli Dugan, who posted two points in addition to five assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Addyson Wegner, who scored five points and four steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Paul fell to 3-1. As for Adams Central, their record now sits at 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul will take on Arcadia/Loup City in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arcadia/Loup City will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something St. Paul surely won't give up without a fight. Adams Central will take on Fillmore Central in a holiday battle at on Friday. Adams Central is facing Fillmore Central at the right time seeing as Fillmore Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
