Football Game Preview: Banks County Leopards vs. Providence Christian Academy Storm + How To Watch

The Banks County Leopards will venture away from home to take on the Providence Christian Academy Storm at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Banks County and three for Providence Christian Academy.

Banks County's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Elbert County on Friday. They had to suffer through a 45-0 loss at the hands of the Blue Devils.

Banks County might have lost, but man, Hunter Bridges was a machine: he threw for 223 yards and two TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes.

Meanwhile, Providence Christian Academy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Athens Academy 69-13. While losing is never fun, the Storm can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 377th, while the Spartans are ranked 126th).

Despite the loss, Providence Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tj Caster rushed for 80 yards and one score.

Providence Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Banks County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Banks County strolled past Providence Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 34-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Leopards since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
