After a string of four wins, Berkley's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 42-35 to the Royal Oak Ravens. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ravens this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-25 back in February.

Berkley's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Veah Green, who posted six points and ten rebounds. Caleigh Tracey was another key player, putting up eight points and 12 boards.

Even though they lost, Berkley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 49 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Berkley's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Royal Oak, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-11.

Berkley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Royal Oak, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cousino at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Cousino will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Royal Oak surely won't give up without a fight.
