Basketball Recap: GREEN Upstate Takes a Loss

GREEN Upstate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 45-19 to the Thornwell Saints. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 30-26 back in December of 2024.

GREEN Upstate's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Thornwell, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8.

GREEN Upstate is taking a road trip to challenge Dixie at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th. As for Thornwell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Abbeville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Abbeville's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Thornwell's offense will have their work cut out for them.
