Purdue Polytechnic skates past Indiana Math & Science Academy North with ease

Recap: Purdue Polytechnic Techies vs. Indiana Math & Science Academy North Knights

The Purdue Polytechnic Techies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 34 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 77-33 victory over Indiana Math & Science Academy North on the road. The victory was just what Purdue Polytechnic needed coming off of a 79-44 defeat in their prior game.

Purdue Polytechnic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eddie Williams led the charge by scoring 13 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Tj Williams, who scored 11 points.

Despite the loss, Indiana Math & Science Academy North saw an underclassman step up: Kyven Smith scored 11 points. The contest was Smith's third in a row with at least ten points.

Purdue Polytechnic's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Indiana Math & Science Academy North, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Purdue Polytechnic will take on Indianapolis Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indiana Math & Science Academy North, they will head out on the road to face off against Purdue Poly Englewood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
