Football Recap: Mount Michael Benedictine Starts off Right with Win over Auburn

Mount Michael Benedictine gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They breezed past the Auburn Bulldogs to the tune of 35-0. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 32-7 loss the last time these two teams met.

Brady Quinlivan was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 90 yards and one score, and also caught one TD. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Mount Michael Benedictine proved: they limited Auburn to a paltry 2.7 yards per carry.
