It was a good run, but Edsel Ford unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 57-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Allen Park Jaguars. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Jaguars are ranked 162nd).

Edsel Ford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Allen Park, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edsel Ford and Lincoln will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Allen Park, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Melvindale at 4:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in Allen Park's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
