Football Recap: Poplar Bluff Takes a Loss

Poplar Bluff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 49-19 loss at the hands of the Farmington Knights. The Mules were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.

Poplar Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Farmington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Poplar Bluff is set to face off against their familiar foe Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Farmington will take on rival Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
