Baseball Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette suffered their biggest loss since April 15, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Campbellsville Eagles, falling 10-4. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Campbellsville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Lafayette and Campbellsville should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. The Generals (ranked 40th) will meet Allen County-Scottsville (ranked 170th) at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Campbellsville will take on Midland Valley at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (11 vs. 165).
