Potomac School is a perfect 10-0 against Georgetown Day since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Potomac School will host Georgetown Day at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

If Potomac School beats Georgetown Day with 12 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Everything went Potomac School's way against Southern Maryland Christian Academy on Monday as Potomac School made off with a 12-2 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Tony Diller was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Will Piester was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Pence, who scored three runs and stole a base.

Meanwhile, Georgetown Day had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Grayslake North with a sharp 10-4 win last Sunday. The Mighty Hoppers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Georgetown Day's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Potomac School, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Potomac School took their victory against Georgetown Day when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 20-5. Will Potomac School repeat their success, or does Georgetown Day has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
