Soccer Game Preview: Shenandoah vs. Edison

The Shenandoah Zeps will head out to take on the Edison Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Shenandoah fell victim to Warren and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to the Warriors. While losing is never fun, Shenandoah can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 438th, while Warren are ranked 183rd).

Meanwhile, Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Oak Glen, falling 9-0. That's two games in a row now that Edison have lost by exactly nine goals.

Shenandoah's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Edison, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12-1.
