Basketball Recap: Doral Academy Red Rock Drops Highest Score of Season Against Innovations International

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Doral Academy Red Rock). They walked away with an 83-70 win over the Innovations International Ambassadors on Wednesday. With that victory, the Dragons brought their scoring average up to 52.2 points per game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Doral Academy Red Rock to victory, but perhaps none more so than Paris Brown, who went 8 for 10 on his way to 22 points. Brown is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Brennan Cuello was another key player, putting up 16 points.

The win got Doral Academy Red Rock back to even at 6-6. As for Innovations International, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Doral Academy Red Rock will square off against The Meadows School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Meadows School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.8 points per game this season. As for Innovations International, they will take on Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
