Emmaus entered their tilt with Stroudsburg on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Mountaineers by a score of 6-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Mari Eiswerth made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run.

In other batting news, Taylor Hauver was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Caylie Granitz also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Emmaus' record is now 9-1. As for Stroudsburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-3.
