Baseball Recap: Whitehaven's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Whitehaven's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Kingsbury Mighty Falcons with a sharp 18-3 victory. Considering the Tigers have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Whitehaven got a massive performance out of Andrew Robinson, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs Robinson has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Tamarion Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Whitehaven always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .632. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kingsbury only posted an OBP of .381.

With the win, Whitehaven broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-4. As for Kingsbury, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitehaven will take on Southwind at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.25 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Kingsbury, they will face off against Cordova at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
