Football Recap: Cloverdale's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cloverdale had won two straight games and Keshaun Taylor did his part to make it three on Friday. The Clovers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the West Vigo Vikings 55-3 with plenty of help from Taylor, who rushed for 203 yards and three scores on only 12 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.

Another player making a difference was Landon Duncan, who threw for 126 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Cloverdale's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

Cloverdale's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for West Vigo, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
