Baseball Recap: Steinmetz College Prep Gets the Win

Steinmetz College Prep won the last time they faced Noble Street College Prep and things went their way on Saturday too. Steinmetz College Prep narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Noble Street College Prep 13-12. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Silver Streaks.

Juan Pablo Jaramillo made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Jaramillo was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Luis Jose Batista Taveras, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Santi ROSALES, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
