Kettle Moraine and Arrowhead are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2019, but not for long. The Lasers will be playing at home against the Warhawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kettle Moraine picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Green Bay Preble. The Lasers haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Kettle Moraine easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Arrowhead faced Pewaukee in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Warhawks put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 3-0 win.

One reason for the win was Arrowhead's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-14.

Kettle Moraine better focus on containing Siena MacCudden and Georgia House as the pair were huge in Arrowhead's win. MacCudden had 23 digs and six assists, while House had 13 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave House a new career-high. Maggie Strickland also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Kettle Moraine's victory bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Arrowhead, their win bumped their record up to 18-12.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's contest: Kettle Moraine has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Arrowhead struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.

Kettle Moraine suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Arrowhead when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Lasers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
