Presque Isle is a perfect 10-0 against Caribou since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wildcats will face off against the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Presque Isle fell victim to Old Town and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Coyotes, falling 8-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Caribou lost 18-7 to Ellsworth on Monday.

Presque Isle now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Caribou, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Presque Isle took their win against Caribou in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
