It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Falls Lake had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They never let the Jones Trojans get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Falls Lake might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Jones with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caleb Morton (3), Nathan Stines (2), Devin Blalock, and Lawson Boyles.

Falls Lake is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 79 goals over those 13 matchups. As for Jones, they dropped their record down to 9-11-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
