The contest was Hicks' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Costarella, who scored eight points.

Jesuit didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Liberty in their previous matchup back in June of 2021, but they still walked away with a 65-61 win. Will Jesuit repeat their success, or does Liberty have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
