Baseball Recap: South Garner Titans vs. Brunswick Bulldogs
South Garner scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past the Brunswick Bulldogs 13-2. The win was just what South Garner needed coming off of a 14-4 defeat in their prior matchup.
Hunter Graham and Timon Jones did most of the damage at the plate: Graham scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Jones got on base in five of his four plate appearances with a home run and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Heaps, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
The victory got South Garner back to even at 4-4. As for Brunswick, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
South Garner will have a chance to go back-to-back against Brunswick: the pair will be back at it again later today.
