Volleyball Recap: Stafford Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Stafford and Kinsley, and Kinsley kept the tradition alive. The Trojans fell just short of the Coyotes by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Stafford sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-21, 21-25, 25-18.

Stafford dropped their record down to 2-6-1 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Kinsley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Stafford and Kinsley will both be playing Otis-Bison the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Cougars on Saturday, while the Coyotes will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
