If Mt. Rainier was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Auburn Riverside on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kentwood Conquerors on Monday. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyla Brown, who had 21 digs and one assist. Brown has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Mt. Rainier's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Kentwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mt. Rainier is set to challenge their familiar foe Stadium at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Kentwood will face off against rival Auburn at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
