After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rainier, R.A. Long was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Castle Rock Rockets as they made off with a 14-2 victory. The Lumberjacks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

R.A. Long's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4-1. As for Castle Rock, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, R.A. Long will venture away from home to challenge Kelso at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Castle Rock, they will host Toutle Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Ducks have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season.
