Basketball Recap: North Marion Skates Past Astoria with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Marion). They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging an 84-53 victory over the Astoria Fishermen. The win was just business as usual for the Huskies, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

North Marion's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Astoria, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

North Marion will be home for the holidays to greet Scappoose at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in North Marion's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Astoria, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Yamhill-Carlton on December 26th.
