Volleyball Recap: Turner Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

The Turner Golden Bears were able to grind out a solid win over the Northeast Vikings on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Turner found their leader in sophomore Izzy Cox, who had five aces and two assists.

Turner was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last three matches.

Turner is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-20 record this season. As for Northeast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Turner will square off against Kauffman at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northeast, they will take on Paseo Academy of Performing Arts at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
