Softball Recap: North Shore Comes Up Short at Home Against Baldwin

North Shore unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Baldwin Bruins on Thursday. The Vikings have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The victory (which was Baldwin's fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Coincidentally, North Shore and Baldwin will both be playing Lynbrook the next time they take the field. The Vikings will host the Owls at 10:00 a.m. on the 14th, while the Bruins will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on the 16th.
