Volleyball Recap: Monterey Bay Academy Comes Up Short

Monterey Bay Academy lost against Watsonville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Monterey Bay Academy took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Watsonville.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Watsonville scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 21-25, 25-23.

Monterey Bay Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Watsonville, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Monterey Bay Academy and Oakwood will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Watsonville, they will challenge Salinas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcatz are facing the Cowboys at the right time seeing as the Cowboys are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
