Basketball Game Preview: Kemmerer Rangers vs. Pinedale Wranglers

The Kemmerer Rangers and the Pinedale Wranglers will compete for holiday cheer at 2:40 p.m. on Thursday. Kemmerer is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Kemmerer's tournament run continued when they took on Sundance on Saturday. Kemmerer lost to Sundance on the road by a 65-46 margin.

Meanwhile, Pinedale came into Saturday's matchup having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by a 75-50 margin over Newcastle on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Wranglers have posted since January 19th.

Kemmerer's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pinedale, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Kemmerer was dealt a bruising 75-48 defeat at the hands of Pinedale in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Kemmerer avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
