Basketball Game Preview: Sheldon Orabs vs. Boyden-Hull Comets

Sheldon hasn't had much luck against Boyden-Hull recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Sheldon Orabs will head out on the road to take on the Boyden-Hull Comets at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Sheldon is coming into the contest on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They walked away with a 63-51 win over Okoboji on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Boyden-Hull had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Warriors out 57-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Comets have posted since February 6, 2024.

Boyden-Hull has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Sheldon, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.

Sheldon opened the new year with a less-than-successful 46-33 loss to Boyden-Hull. Can Sheldon avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
