Softball Recap: Frazier Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Frazier had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Waynesburg Central Raiders. This was a revenge game for the Commodores: when they faced off against the Raiders two weeks ago, they had to take a 5-4 loss.

Frazier's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Waynesburg Central, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frazier will host Bentworth at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Waynesburg Central, they will square off against Brownsville at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
