Baseball Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Denver Cyclones. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cyclones this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-3 defeat back in June.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 10-20-1. As for Denver, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-5.

Columbus has already played their next contest (against New Hampton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Denver also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Wapsie Valley.
