Volleyball Game Preview: Marlborough Panthers vs. Wayland Warriors

The Marlborough Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Wayland Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Marlborough will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Marlborough proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Southwick Regional, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since April 23rd.

Marlborough took Southwick Regional into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 21-25, 19-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Wayland can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against Greater Lowell Tech by a score of 3-1.

Marlborough pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Wayland, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.
