After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Blountstown, Bay was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Arnold Marlins, sneaking past 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Bay who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 18-25, 28-26, 22-25, 15-8.

Bay now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Arnold, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Bay will venture away from home to face off against Rutherford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arnold, they will be taking part in a tournament against Holmes County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
