Basketball Recap: Surry County Comes Up Short

Surry County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Franklin Broncos, falling 55-23. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 73-21 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Surry County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Franklin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Franklin beat Surry County by a score of 55-23 later that day.
