Basketball Recap: Racine Case Takes a Loss

If Racine Case was riding high fresh off their 80-49 takedown of Racine Horlick last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Racine Case Eagles were dealt an 83-44 loss at the hands of the Kenosha Bradford Red Devils on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Red Devils are ranked 48th).

Kenosha Bradford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Te'Lisha Brown led the charge by going 5-for-10 en route to 18 points in addition to eight steals and five rebounds. Brown is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Iyanna Green, who posted 18 points along with eight assists and six boards.

Racine Case's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Kenosha Bradford, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Racine Case nor Kenosha Bradford have any future games scheduled.
