Sam Gerritsen gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.
