Basketball Recap: Central Cabarrus Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Central Cabarrus was feeling good fresh off their 63-36 takedown of A.L. Brown on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings took a blow against the West Cabarrus Wolverines on Tuesday, falling 79-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since February 25, 2025.

Central Cabarrus' defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for West Cabarrus, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

Coincidentally, Central Cabarrus and West Cabarrus will both be playing Harding University the next time they take the court. The Wolverines will head out to face the Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Vikings will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
