Bishop Kenny hasn't had much luck against Wakulla recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Crusaders will venture away from home to square off against the War Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Bishop Kenny will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Bishop Kenny is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Wolfson as they made off with a 16-1 win. That's two games straight that the Crusaders have won by exactly 15 runs.

Sophia Mulkey made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Abby Jackson and Ava Farnham did most of the damage at the plate: Jackson got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Farnham went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Jackson has posted since back in March. Brooke Bizzarri was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
Bishop Kenny always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .759. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Wakulla had just enough and edged out Suwannee 3-1 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the War Eagles.
Charley Butler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up ten Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cylie Long, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Parker Stubbs, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Bishop Kenny's record now sits at 11-15. As for Wakulla, their record is now 19-4-1.
Bishop Kenny suffered a grim 15-9 defeat to Wakulla when the teams last played back in March of 2017. Can the Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
