Basketball Recap: Rock County Christian Skates Past Berean Christian with Ease

Rock County Christian put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 71-41 victory over the Berean Christian Kingsmen. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Eagles just coasted through the last quarter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rock County Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Derek Quinn, who went 12-for-19 to rack up 25 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. The game was Quinn's fifth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Macen Osland, who shot 47% from the field en route to 23 points in addition to seven assists and five boards.

Rock County Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Rock County Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Rock County Christian will head out to challenge Wisconsin School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berean Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Marquette Manor Baptist Academy at 6:15 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
