Volleyball Recap: Old Fort's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Old Fort waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Plymouth Big Red with a sharp 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-5, 25-12.

Old Fort found their leader in sophomore Carly Fortney, who had six digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Fortney.

Old Fort was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in three consecutive matchups.

Old Fort's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Plymouth, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.

Old Fort wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Mohawk on the 20th. Plymouth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
