Football Recap: Kodiak Takes a Loss

Kodiak faced Homer in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bears took a blow against the Mariners, falling 48-8. The Bears have struggled against the Mariners recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Kodiak's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Homer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

As of now, neither Kodiak nor the Mariners have any future games scheduled.
