Recap: Garland Owls vs. Naaman Forest Rangers
The Garland Owls's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 62-40 loss at the hands of Naaman Forest. If Garland hoped to take revenge for the 53-43 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Garland's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brennon Workmon, who scored 11 points, and Jaierick Moore jr who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Workmon has scored all season.
Garland now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Naaman Forest, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-18 record this season.
Garland will head out on the road to challenge Sachse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sachse has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 782 points over their last 11 matchups. As for Naaman Forest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Garland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Garland comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
