Volleyball Recap: St. John-Endicott Eagles vs. Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves
St. John-Endicott's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since September 23rd.
St. John-Endicott was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-18, 21-25, 25-19, 15-7.
Vanessa Webb paced St. John-Endicott's offense, picking up nine kills. Webb got some help from Sophie Anderson and her 25 assists. Alexa Brewer controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
St. John-Endicott's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Tekoa-Rosalia, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
