Fleming Island's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was London Jenkins, who scored 21 points along with four steals. Jenkins has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Amira Martin was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 15 rebounds.
Fleming Island has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season. As for Clay, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.
Fleming Island will play host again and welcome Episcopal School of Jacksonville, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Episcopal School of Jacksonville is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Clay, they will head out on the road to challenge Middleburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
